Imagine walking through a seaside garden as a young child for the very first time. Curiosity and wonderment guide your experience of new and exciting sights, smells, sounds, tastes and textures. The fragrance opens bright, fresh and undeniably green with fruity, tart and spicy nuances. Fresh, green and fruity elements continue with subtle floral and aquatic undertones. A gentle ocean breeze blows through your hair as rays of sunshine warm your skin. Lying in the cool grass, the sun and breeze alternate their embrace causing you to drift off in a peaceful sleep enhanced with warm woods, resins and musk. Feelings of love, comfort and joy fill your dreams and in the innocence of youth, you fail to understand that you will never forget this garden.

Courant Éternel is a very special and personal fragrance for me. The scent itself is inspired by my very first scent memory. It was created to reproduce not just the scent but the entire experience of exploring a seaside garden as a young child. Of course you have the natural flora of the garden with notes of Rhubarb, Dill, Raspberry, Basil and florals elements. We also attempted to recreate the feel of an ocean breeze, the warmth of sun on your face and even the earth below. This is a fresh, bright and vibrant fragrance that captures the essence of Spring and will be loved by both men and women.

Courant Éternel is a tribute to the love of God. In particular, His providence in bringing people into our lives. In this case, my mother, grandmother and my wife. The name itself comes from an old hymn. "Underneath me, all around me is the CURRENT of His love, leading onward, leading homeward to His glorious rest above."

LAWMAN is built around the wonderfully distinctive dry, earthy and smoky mesquite wood. It opens fresh and spicy with aromatic and green facets. As the fragrance develops the earthy, woody and smoky elements become more prominent tempered by aromatic thyme and bittersweet apple. LAWMAN dries down to a deep, dark and mysterious finish that inspires intrigue from all who cross his path.

(Batch 2 coming 10/15) When Sean, the founder of Carbon shaving approached us about collaborating on a fragrance, Damascus kept coming up. As a designer of heirloom quality razors, he had utilized the modern form of Damascus steel in some of his pieces of functional artwork. With the popularity of our “origin” series perfumes like Musashi and Sidama, the ancient city of Damascus also beckoned. We decided to develop this new original fragrance as an homage to the famous steel, the city and its storied markets.

The colors, design, and illustrations serve to highlight the beauty and history of Damascus steel, while the fragrance itself transports the wearer to the ancient city and its markets.

A trio of spices (black pepper, cardamom, and saffron) dance with the creamy sweetness of Fig for a warm and sensual open. This spiced open has a honeyed hay subtlety with just a hint of leather and smoke. The honeyed thread persists and leads seamlessly into an exotic heart where the spices whirl around with complex florals and dried fruits (orris, davana, rose de grasse). Damascus dries down to a warm, sensual, and elegant finish. The composition is nothing short of magical in its interplay as an ambrée both woody and spicy. The actual expression is a masterfully executed composition of woods, spices, musk, leather and smoke.

PASSION POIVRÉE is an exploration in contrasts. It’s playful and splashy, yet sophisticated. It’s fire and ice; a frozen cocktail on a sun drenched tropical beach. This is a passion fruit forward fragrance that opens fresh and spicy. Bergamot, Grapefruit and Lemon Zest compliment tropical and tangy passion fruit. Ginger and Timur pepper highlight and accentuate the zesty citrus and fruity nuances while adding a distinctive spicy and peppery facet. Green apple extends the tart, fruity elements while saffron introduces us to the seductive dry down. The finish is intimate and exotic with elements leather, amber, and woods. The sun has definitely set, but the evening has just begun. Peppered passion is aptly named as it is passionate, fiery, and full of life!

Tusitala or “teller of tales” was the name given to RLS by the Samoan people. It was also the name of the last full rigged merchant ship to fly the American flag. A new dawn awakens. You are instantly greeted with a compliment of bright and zesty citrus. Exotic and spicy cardamom provides a beautiful richness and complexity. Then, as if carried on a light summer breeze something fruity and somehow tropical begins to take shape. A tangy green peach ensnares the senses, while a beautiful floral combo of Jasmine and Orris add a slightly sweet and musky quality. A bittersweet Saffron and rich rum bring us to to the finish of this journey. Like a warm embrace at sunset that you never want to end Tusitala finishes with an enduring intimate and comforting quality. Rich and natural tobacco leaf and musk combine with the sweetness of tonka and deep woods.

Kensei opens with a beautifully unique citrus blast of Blood Orange, Yuzu, and Yellow Mandarin. It is light, juicy, tangy and undeniably uplifting. The sweet and crisp Nashi pear adds to this energizing and delectable opening.

The fresh open transforms with the rich complexity of Lapsang Suchong tea. The uniqueness of this tea cannot be overstated. The tea is smoke dried over pine wood creating an effect that adds a hint of wood smoke and resin to the depth of black tea. The floral combo of Neroli and Violet keep the fragrance light and fresh extending the lift from the citrus open.

An exotic mix of black pepper and saffron create a luxurious creamy, warm spiced effect that leads into a comforting woody finish.

I can still remember the first time I tried a naturally processed Ethiopian coffee. It’s been over 20 years now, but the memory has left an indelible impression. I was at my favorite coffee shop and roaster la costa coffee roasting in Carlsbad, CA. This is a 2nd generation, family owned business. Doug, the owner has a near encyclopedic knowledge of all things coffee. The coffee was bold, rich, and juicy; just bursting with flavor and intense aroma, the most prominent being blueberry. When we began creating fragrances with MANE I knew a fragrance as an ode to my favorite coffee and some beautiful memories had to be undertaken. A follow up to Musashi in our ORIGINs collection seemed the perfect opportunity as Sidama is considered by most to be the birthplace of coffee. The fragrance is designed to showcase coffee with the surrounding notes building on the birthplace of coffee Sidama, Ethiopia. The fragrance has a slightly sweet and boozy open that is coffee forward with fruity nuances from berries and apricot. As it transitions; a unique and creamy mix of Iris, lactonic features, and a hint of dark chocolate bridge the open and base. The fragrance dries down with a warm ambery and musky richness anchored by woods, spice, and earthy elements.

Citrus aromatic fragrances with a Mediterranean flair have always been a bit of a “guilty pleasure” for me. This is particularly true when they are anchored by the extraordinary citrus from Calabria, Bergamot.

It is at once bright and invigorating with a unique bittersweet tartness. It’s uniqueness is bolstered by the subtle floral and herbal elements that hide just beneath the surface. Like a polished gemstone, it has many exemplary facets that shine through when combined with complementary notes.

When developing Calabria we wanted to create an experience that is bright, effervescent and uplifting. Imagine the scene overlooking the beauty of the Italian coastline engaged in light conversation among friends. You order brunch while sipping on an Aperol Spritz. The sun is shining bright while the sounds of birds and the ocean are carried on a gentle breeze. - This is Calabria!

The bright and tart Bergamot is combined with a sparkling and zesty grapefruit. This effervescent open is tempered a bit by the unique fresh aromatic combo of Ginger and Cardamom. A beautiful trio of florals headed by the amazingly fruity and apricot-like Osmanthus blends harmoniously into the mix. The finish is soft and smooth with woods and musk. We hope you enjoy this truly exceptional expression of a citrus aromatic fragrance with a Mediterranean twist.

How would we describe this fragrance? It is BOOZY, but not in a brash in your face way. The lime is very unique and forward. Anyone who is familiar with Southeast Asian cuisine should be familiar with Kaffir Lime. It has a depth and complexity far beyond your typical lime essential oil. Ginger had to be a player due to the ginger beer element in the cocktail, but we wanted to make sure the spice component was a bit more nuanced. To achieve this, we added Coriander, and Cardamom to the Ginger forward spice elements. Finally we wanted to give the fragrance a nice deep woodsy and slightly sweet finish which the Oak and Benzoin pulled off perfectly. We hope you enjoy! Cheers!

Spring has arrived - And so has a new fragrance collection - Élan - (ey-lahn) - noun - Vigorous enthusiasm. Juniper Reverie is the first installment in the collection.

Juniper Reverie opens with the invigorating combo of bright lemon and fresh juniper wrapped in a slightly sweet and boozy Cognac accord. It transitions with a unique mix of freshly ground coffee, and soft florals with aromatic incense and myrrh. The finish is sensual and warm.

The Parfum was bottled at a 27% concentration and was created by MANE perfumers Vincent Kuczinski and Ugo Charron.

Jackie is the final fragrance to be released in our legacy lineup and a favorite around here.

Jackie was a pioneer in numerous ways and eminently deserving of the Gentleman’s Nod as evidenced by the retiring of #42 across every MLB team!

Jackie is the quintessential masculine fragrance. A fresh new aromatic fougère our take on the “barbershop” category. The top carries a beautiful fresh quality from the pineapple, citrus, and peppermint that lasts all the way into the transition to the dry down. The mid brings the familiar floral formula with some unique additions. But the dry down is where the magic happens in Jackie. It is an intoxicating masculine medley of tobacco, amber, woods and musk. This may be the most versatile fragrance we've released to date. It's a great choice for any ocassion, time of day or season.

Mr. Washington, POTUS #1, represents a darker masculine fragrance. An excellent fragrance for cooler temps. The fragrance opens with citrus and woods, mingled with florals and the complexity of labdanum. Traditional warm and earthy elements of Patchouli, Amber, Oak Moss, and Musk create the base of this deep fragrance. Taking cue from his tobacco cultivation at Mt. Vernon, we added a healthy portion of tobacco.

Cosecha Catalana or Catalonian Harvest (Collita Catalana) in Catalan is a Mediterranean fragrance inspired by a fall harvest.

A new morning dawns as you set your eyes upon a beautiful Mediterranean coastline. Immediately, you are met with an intensely aromatic, green and herbal aroma highlighted by bright citrus. Traveling inland, dry florals with herbal and woody accents draw you further into the sprawling countryside. As evening approaches, you are greeted by the comforting warmth of creamy woods and Golden Amber that is earthy, yet slightly sweet and resinous.

Ernest was my “first love” in our line of product aromas and so, fittingly it is first released in our core line up of fragrances.

Created for adventurers, novelists, rum and cigar aficionado’s of all kinds. We took the inspiration for this fragrance from the Key West and Cuba days. Rumor has it that when attempting to catch a monster fish - sometimes it takes 85 days!

Ernest opens up with a bright and uplifting (4) fold citrus accord with compliments from the tropical tang of Mango . The fragrance transitions with the addition of warm florals and tobacco. As the aroma settles into the skin it finishes with the warm notes of tobacco, vetiver and woods. Perfect for a late summer sunset stroll or casual dinner overlooking the water! Wearing this fragrance always leaves you with that "vacation vibe". At Extrait strength this fragrance will easily provide you with 6-8+ hours of performance as well.

Introducing Musashi an original fragrance from Gentleman's Nod. This is the first offering in a new "Origins" series, featuring a fragrance developed around a single note or accord.

The fragrance is inteded to invoke feelings of walking from an isolated coastal region with the fresh zest of citrus and sweetness of Nashi pear. As you move inland and into slightly higher elevations, Jasmine Tea, florals and spice dominate the fragrance. Ultimately as your journey continues into yet higher, forested elevations the fragrance again transforms into a more earthy and woodsy mix reminiscent of the damp forest floor and ancient firs.

We invite you to explore this beautiful fragrance developed around a heart of Jasmine Tea with the accompanying notes stemming from an Asian origin with Japan in particular.
